A GREAT MISFORTUNE
Although the 20th century was one of the periods with the greatest wars, the current century, although in a more discreet way, has also very important conflicts where thousands of victims have died. It is shocking that, in the 21st century, we are going backwards on principles and moral standards that are so simple. In the image we can see three children surrounded by rubble.
In the background, we can see a lot of from debris, it must be buildings, houses, homes destroyed by a war. It all looks destroyed, as if the three children who I can see were the only ones still alive. Indeed, they looks sad, as if they had lost their family. In the middle, I can see a quite small boy accompanied by two girls crying. I guess they must have witnessed the death of so many beloved ones, the destruction of the places where they grew up, the burial of their family.

I think these children must have had a very bad time. It cannot be that children who could be about eight years old suffer in this way. I can't help feeling sadness, thinking that many children in the world end up alone because a stupid war has taken away their family. I believe that wars lead nowhere, homes and families are destroyed, by wars and we must stop this.
