How can it be that in the 21st century there are still wars when in theory we are a species that uses logic? This is a question that I usually think of when I see these images of war, destruction, blood, death ...

In this image we can see in the middle a soldier sitting on the ground, accompanied by a very small child leaning on the soldier's leg. Although they are not in the best place because they are surely in the middle of a war, they look very happy and this gives me a very good vibe. Also, you can see in the bottom left-hand corner the soldier's rifle leaning against the stone wall.

In conclusion I believe this photo must have been taken in bad times. I hope that these little moments of peace, both for the soldier and the child, help them to carry on.
